Fresh from the release of their first studio album in six years, Ursa Major, the guys from Third Eye Blind already have a slew of tour dates behind them, but they’re nowhere near finished yet!
After hanging out in the West and Midwest throughout November, the band will swing into the nation’s capital for a Dec. 31 show, which is currently listed as the last show on their Web site.

Third Eye Blind just announced a slew of new touring dates, thanks largely in part to the success of their newest single,“ Bonfire,” off of their recently-released album, Ursa Major.
The alt rockers will now tour up the East Cost through most of October, and will then move into the Great Lakes Region for the end of the month. They will perform in Madison, Wisc., on Halloween, and in Iowa City, Iowa, to finish things up on November 1st.

Rockers Third Eye Blind are visiting a number of college campuses and theaters this fall, supporting their recent release, Ursa Major.
The album, released on August 18th, is the band’s fourth studio collection and its first in more than five years. Earlier this summer, the band was up in arms at the illegally leaked version that made its way onto the Internet.
The band’s frontman, Stephen Jenkins, asked all fans that illegally downloaded the album to donate money that would have been spent on the album to a local charity.

Third Eye Blind has just announced their plans for26 shows from March to May 2009.
They’ll kick off their spring tour in Norfolk, Virginia on March 20, and traveling throughout the country before wrapping up the tour in Wantagh, New York on May 8. Word is still out on who will be supporting the band on the road.

Third Eye Blind announced their fourth studio album, Ursa Major, which is anticipated to be released in February 2009. Three first single called “Non-Dairy Creamer” is expected out on November 18!
Also announced is their fifth album titled Ursa Minor. It is rumored to be released in the fall of 2009, and will contain the songs that were cut from Ursa Major.
Major and Minor will be their first albums released since 2003’s Out of the Vein. Unfortunately for 3EB, “Out of the Vein” only sold about 500,000 copies worldwide. The most popular song off that album was called “Blinded.”

After a long tour that attempted to bring the band back to the forefront of alternative rock, Third Eye Blind is in the works of finishing up their fourth and fifth studio albums.
The albums, titled Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, are set to be released some time in Winter 2008. Ursa Major features new tracks that have already gained popularity through recent live performances.
The band’s long hiatus is due to front man Stephan Jenkins’ writing troubles but fans don’t seem to mind. The anticipation for the new albums is continuing to grow as the release “time frame” nears.
The band is rumored to follow up the release with some type of spring tour, although nothing official has been set.
